With over 20 years in the documentary field, Jessica has created compelling content for brands, nonprofits, and news organizations as well as produced and directed nonfiction television.  With experience living and filming internationally, Jessica has directed viral videos, ethnographic documentaries, and poignant pieces that help change policy. She has worked in remote areas, on delicate subjects, with vulnerable communities, and in complex conditions. Producing for television, Jessica worked with talented teams around the world on shows that explored baboon love, the first DNA testing of King Tut, and our healthcare system today. Her feature documentary Waiting for John, about an extraordinary religion in the South Pacific, aired in the award-winning PBS Pacific Heartbeat series and screened in film festivals worldwide. She has interviewed religious leaders, DNA scientists, DEA agents, and piano playing cats, hoping to glimpse into new worlds. Jessica is inspired by untold perspectives, counterintuitive notions, and the beauty found in the everyday. She graduated from Northwestern University with a degree concentrating in film production and creative writing for the media.
